Gratings have a certain degree of slip resistance as standard, but they can be made even more slip-resistant.
Forge welded gratings with a serrated surface are typically used in areas where the floor plays an important role in providing employees with a safe and stable footing during a busy workday.
Slip-resistant gratings are always marked with an “X” before the type designation – e.g. XSP230-34/38-3.
Slip resistance for floor coverings is classified according to the DIN 51130 standard.
There are several different types of slip-resistant forge welded gratings available.
Please contact our sales department for advice on which type is best suited for your project – whether you need custom-made or standard gratings.
