PRESSURE-LOCKED GRATINGS: CONSTRUCTION
The cross bars are pressed under very high pressure, up to 20,000 kN, into the bearing bars of the steel gratings, which are provided with tapered slots. The high pressure and slots in the bearing bars ensure the formation of a torsion-resistant steel grating / elephant grating.

PRESSURE-LOCKED GRATINGS WITH EDGE BARS
Pressure-locked gratings are always supplied with edge bars. In a specially developed production process, the grating edge is automatically double-welded to each bearing bar. The result is gratings of lasting quality with clean edges and corners. In the direction of the bearing bars, the edge bar is flat. Heavy-duty gratings are supplied all around with a flat edge bar, creating a safe and stable pressure-locked grating that will last for many years.
