Sanded GRP-gratings have slip resistance at the same level as standard GRP-gratings.
It is a common misconception that sanded GRP gratings are required if a slip-resistant grating is desired.

Sanded GRP-gratings are more expensive than standard GRP-gratings.
Therefore, they are only used where necessary – for example in swimming pools, on bathing jetties, or other places where people walk barefoot.
